A Message from the Club President

Welcome to the Wylie Rotary Club's website. 

Rotary is not only a local club but a grassroots global network of community volunteers. Rotary is the world's largest volunteer organization and the world's first world wide volunteer organization. 

Rotarians provide humanitarian service locally and internationally. 

I am proud to be the current president for a great group of diverse people that reach out to serve others. We have members that range from the banking industry, law and fire enforcement, medical profession, financial consultants, accountant, realtors, engineer, construction, economic developement, transportation vehicle repair, newspaper editor, fitness consultant, and the clergy.

I am proud to be a part of Rotary -- for our local service projects, scholarship contributions, and contributions to Rotary International.  We have fundraising events such as our annual bowling tournament, pancake breakfast, and popcorn/water sales at the Wylie Rodeo.  We send students to leadership camps, fund local student scholarships, deliver meals on wheels, purchased and constructed a public playground, painted homes for those in need and the Christian Care Center, organized construction on school crosswalk kiosks, and will soon plant trees around Wylie. 

We meet for one hour each week for lunch and a weekly diverse program which which can encompass personal financing to our state representative to the swat team.  I encourage you to visit one of our meetings and experience the world of Rotary.
